The CMS Honours the Memory of Dr. Borwein

(Sep 9, 2021) The Canadian Mathematical Society is saddened by the news of Dr. David Borwein’s passing. Dr. Borwein served as president of the CMS from 1985 to 1987.

This prize is awarded for an outstanding research publication (or a series of related publications) that has had a profound impact on an area of mathematics, for which the area is on Combinatorics, Discrete mathematics, Logic and foundations, and Mathematical Aspects of Computer Science.
